I generally wake up at 6 in the morning and switch on the TV at around 7.30 to check in the latest news of the day. Interestingly, today, there were only two Topics going on and on in a loop. Two deaths.. One India lost its "Bharat Ratna" - Dr. Kalam, and his impending funeral (God bless his soul). and the Other ..abruptly ended life of Yakub Memon (God bless his soul too).
The abruptness of life or rather a state when a human was living a moment ago and is no more in this world, depicts the fragility of this utopia, which we call as a living sense.
This particular line of thought is making me wonder what is the bigger purpose of my existence in this universe. I am a common working man, contributing silently in the society I exist in. Is there a bigger picture, which I am unable to see? or I am just an extension of the vast lithosphere that was created and will lead my life without a greater purpose and perish when my time comes.
What I really am thinking is will I really have a legacy, and if yes, how I should create one.
In my search for these thoughts I just reflected on the legacy of two men I was hearing the news about.
Missile man, sage, Bharat Ratna, Peopele's President, eminent scientist and several other adjectives are being honored on Dr. Kalam. On the contrary, Mr. Memon is quoted as a conspirator of misdeeds.
What I feel is the normal gyaan we have been hearing from a long time . Do good... and be good ... Karma et all. But in deeper sense, is it really possible in real life circumstances to be good and do good.
I am still mulling on this .....
